Just finished installing my Painless Harness. Need to tidy up and add some stress-relief here and there.

Tied into existing ground, and 12v fuse blocks.

Followed instructions, and wired four LEDs (lamps ) and outgoing brake lead.

Nice job guys, I made every wire a home run to either a dedicated 12v fuse screw on block, or home run to a dedicated ground block screw. It was all done temp meant to pull down for paint I left enough slack in each run to make it work). I put the fuse and ground blocks behind the glove box for accessibility ,(I'm not going to use the glove box for storage) I also terminated the outside wiring on blocks under drivers side fire wall entry point for separation point, plus a system breaker. At this point I have not gone back to paint so it's still messy . My long range plans are to pull it all down and use waxed string to lace the bundles with string, breaking out other bundles as appropriate, an old method we used in routing wires in switch boards switch rooms etc. at the old phone co. These pics are of my current "MESS", so please don't laugh, it's temp.

I use snake skin (woven mesh) and shrink wrap on the ends. I really like the fuse panel behind the drivers kick panel. I'm going to see if my Racer's Black Box panel will go there. Everything possible is hidden under the hood. I have a double firewall that allows the wiring to hide between them.

Now that is a beautiful job, just gorgeous. Well planned, well executed, my hat is off to you Sir. If I'm able to even come anywhere close to your install when I eventually do my cab, Ill be a very happy man. Congratulations on a job well done.

Eman, what are the 4 round black devices in the last pic? look to be some sort of indicator lights (for ?) or push button switches?
Jim, you do know they make formed metal jumper clips for the terminal blocks that eliminate the need for the fabbed short daisy chain jumpers?
Nice clean work, both of you.

Those are fuse holders Chuck. There are two more as well in another spot. I'm running 8 Autometer Pro-Comp Gauges. The Tach is fused with 4Amp and the rest are 3Amp. The Painless Harness was fused for 5Amp but the circuit included other items as well. I'm sure somebody smarter than I could sort it out but I decided to fuse them independently. That Driver's Side under dash corner is a pretty cool place for panel mount fuse holders should somebody need one.

For those wiring an EFI engine: Be sure to run a home run ground wire from the ECU to ground side of battery. ECU depends on a very clean signal path, don't use chassis ground for dependable service.

Thanks Ax ,know I didn't know that, Mine was never intended to be permanent so every thing was just off the shelf at our local big box, small inventory store. Its safe and all ends are soldered but its not something I'm particularly proud of to look at. I intend to see what's available out there B4 I redo it. (hopefully B4 I get to old). I'm really impressed with what the other members have accomplished on there trucks, very nice.

I like using these people for my low voltage wiring supplies: www.waytekwire.com it's all commercial duty stuff (no Radio Sucks) very inexpensive and have no minimum order (< 35.00 total +5.00 service chg).
Here's a page of their terminal blocks and jumper clips:

Thanks AX, for the links. It's nice to have access to the items your actually looking for (and more) not settling for what is on a very limited shelf.
