Anyone rebuilt their smog pump (bearings)? If so are they standard bearings from the bearing supply house?

The big donut bearing is very difficult to find.
I got mine pressed apart and ready to go using the existing vanes.
It was never right and I ended up with a rebuilt Cardone one from Amazon.
$70, no core, no wasted time.my 2c?
I would never go through that again.

 

Salvage yard specials are cheap.
