12,000 lb loaded, no issues.

Works much better in Manual mode when on long interstate runs to control the shifting. I run in "M" 5th gear and going over the over-passes I except loosing 2-3 mph at the top over the constant gear hunting in the "D" mode. If I see a grade, like a real bridge, I'll select 4th gear before the run to keep the speed up.

I have had it out in Texas hill country and had to use 3rd a few times on some good hills. Still pulls good at 50 mph in 3rd.

It will get you there no problems, if you work with what you have.

8 mpg average pulling my signature 5th wheel and I have pulled it over 3,000 miles.

I towed my Montana fifthwheel a month ago a little over 400 miles round trip. Empty weight is close to 12,000#'s. 6.2 gas, 4.30 gears and I averaged 8.8 mpg.

ATP Pilot & Hedgehog1..... you guys running in the Tow Haul mode aswell as using Manual shift? Or does manual mode kick tow haul out?
Just picked up a 2016 F350 CC SB 6.2L Have a 28' TT
I find that I like keeping the truck out of 6th most of the time driving empty even. Just has RPM & pwr when needed rather then waiting for it to kick down or always dropping gears on the Hwy.

Manual mode kicks out tow mode, when you go back to D, tow mode will come back on, if it was on before you went to M

We put tune in (Ford dealer did it and no warranty issues) and that really wakes it up. We tow a 11,000 lb. 5th wheel toy hauler but with 3.73 we could use just a bit more for the tall hills out in our country. Will probably do a gear swap this summer.

Brent, which tune did you end up using? Just curious, a lot of guys on here like 5* but others have been mentioned as well.

TIA

Our Ford dealer uses SCT. They installed and update whenever it is needed; and it did not affect warranty. Run Hi test and see an improvement you can feel.
