What color of paint is this?

Im helping my uncle work on his truck. It was outdoors for the last couple years and has a lot of surface rust. Not trying to professionally repaint, just want to get some spray paint that is close to the factory color and get it looking better. I am new to bumpside trucks, I have no idea what color combo this is.

I believe the cab is a 71, the bed may be a 71 or 70, but I think its the matching bed to the cab. The frame is a 70

'Looks to be Scandia Green Iridescent... or a faded Boxwood Green. What is the color code on your warranty plate? It is located on the rear facing side of the driver's door.

Based on your interior paint.. my bet is Boxwood. I like that color.

I will try to find the warranty plate today when I get home from work.

I typically dislike green on cars/trucks, but I like this color.

2x.. I'm the same way. It's more olive/olive drab than "green-green".

That's not the warranty plate. It's a Federal certification sticker. The warranty plate is riveted on the rear face of the driver's door....

Ah Shiite. Do yo think tjat truck was ever a government service vehicle? Or ever titled?

I happened upon a 71 F250 in the yard with is warranty plate removed and a tag similar to that riveted in its place. Could be the same but different.

we just got tabs for it, so its licensed and has title. It may have been a government truck.

F25YRH72008

F25 - F250 2WD
Y - 360 cubes
R - San Jose (Milpitas) assembly plant
H72008 - consecutive unit number. It was manufactured March 1970.

Decoding Your 1970 Ford Truck VIN - FORDification.com

Check to see if your WA VIN tag matches the VIN stamped on the frame. There are two on the right frame rail... one cannot be seen because it is under the cab right about where the leading edge of the seat is.... the other VIN stamp is visible. It is on the top of the right frame rail basically in line with the alternator or a hair forward. You may need a wire brush to reveal it.
