Pretty good day
Went to a show today. There were over 200 cars at this show. It was a judged event and there was a peoples choice for the spectators to vote on. All trucks 1/2 ton to 1 1/2 ton were in the same class and I brought home a 3rd place trophy in that judged class. I was beat out by a 1948 Dodge 1 1/2 ton stake body and a 1957 Ranchero. Both were beautiful restorations and I told my son they would beat mine. The owner of the Ranchero has about 50 cars and lives right here in Billings and when the show was over he drove it out of the park and into a 40 foot enclosed trailer to take it home. I drove mine home! The best part of the show is I took home the peoples choice trophy and ran into another 64 that was nice but it was a long box. I will post pictures but can only do one and the thread locks up so there will be many posts. It is unbelievable to me the number of MORONS out there who think they have to slide there hands across your car!!!!!!!!!

E (VIN engine) code: 1957 Ford/Mercury/Thunderbird 312 with factory installed dual quads. You can see a bit of the dual quad air cleaner.
Due to hood clearance, T-Bird's used a different air cleaner than Ford/Merc's.
The grille guard that bolts to the bumper guards was a dealer installed accessory, but no Ranchero came with the gold mylar side mouldings or the mouldings above them.
People added these mouldings to '57 Ranchero's (including myself), taking them from club coupes, 2dr H/T's and Sunliners.
