5.4 Smoking Please Help!

Need some help. I have a 2002 f250 with a 5.4. Recently started smoking. At first it was just the initial startup smoke and then nothing else. Problem really started after sitting idling for about 2.5 hours and when i took off i smoked up the world. Immediately pulled off and had someone tow me home. Never ran hot. Most it has been driven since it got bad is around the block and idling under carport. I know its oil. I have checked compression and is good. I have tested the head gasket on the water side with a block tester, is good. Passenger side head was replaced 6 months ago because of spitting a plug. Thought maybe the valve guide seals were bad so replaced them on the drivers side, didnt touch passenger side because of 6 month old head. Changing seals didnt help. Strained oil for metal particles, didnt find any. put new plugs in after changing seals after an hour of use cyl's 1, 2, 5, 6 are dirty and looks like oil, other 4 look brand new as expected. Power is good still, just looks like the mosquito man going down the road. I have the initial puff of smoke at start up. No smoke while engine is heating up but once the engine gets up to temp smoking starts again.
Just wondering if there is anything else I should look for before have the engine replaced because i think its the oil control rings are broken and possibly still in the piston grooves. Could it possibly be the headgasket and just not leaking on the water side. Have heard that maybe the intake manifold gasket leaking could also cause oil to be sucked in.
Any ideas are welcome. I also already changed the PCV valve.
