2006 Ford E-350 Extended Passenger Van 5.4L V8 issues

Problem #1:
I replaced the battery a few months ago because I experienced a power drain when I was not moving (vehicle was on). The battery gauge dropped to nothing, all other gauges dropped to nothing as well. When I started driving again, the battery gauge rose like the system was charging, but dropped again at a stop. This only occurs if the AC is running, but does so intermittently. I am guessing one of the following is the issue:

1. Battery is bad because of bad charging
2. Alternator is on the fritz
3. Something else going on in the pulley system

Problem #2:
My RSC light and "alarm" will activate at random. The RSC indicator flashes and the button to turn it off will go red. I have found that it could be the ABS Module, Hydraulic Control Unit, or a myriad of different sensors.

Suggestions?

Alternator / regulator.

When the regulator on my bike died (Triumph, of course) one of the first thing that acted up was the ABS lights.

It can be also something as stupid as a loose battery terminal. Easy to check but sometimes is the last we do.

It was the alternator. Tried a new regulator first and no luck.

***alternator***

So if I car is doing the same thing most likely it is an alternator? If so how long do you think the car can go on without any work done to it? The Rs the light has been going off for two or three weeks now and we already change the battery when it first happened

. Good one. I replaced the rectifier with one intended for a Polaris snowmobile.
