73-81 camaro or 75-79 nova subframe, rear looks like an 8.2 10 bolt but I cannot tell without a picture straight on from the back.

Not a lot of weld on the splice, from what I can see, but better done than many.

Thanks for the help! I'll see if I can get some better pictures. Hopefully I can use most of what's there to keep initial cost down.. I don't see many people using this type of set up so I'll be doing a lot of research

There are actually quite a few guys on here with the same setup. Cheap and easy to pick up a wrecked Camaro, and use the whole drivetrain.

This was a pretty popular IFS install a couple decades back when the clips were plentiful and inexpensive, allowed the drop in install of a CSB engine, also a favored/available powerplant choice at that time. My friend Tony has the same front clip in his F1, but yours is a cleaner install.
The increased demand for/rise in prices on that era Nova and Camaro and the age of the parts/engineering along with the change in fashion to MII IFS and F in F drivetrains has reduced the number of people doing this swap today.
As long as the balljoints, brakes, steering parts are in good shape there is nothing "wrong" with this install. If you really want to change the engine to the more "fashionable" Ford, it's not difficult to do. Tony is following the trends, pulled the CSB that was in his truck and we built mounts to install a pushrod 5.0 FSB in his, a fairly easy fab, but space front to back with the FSB was at a premium and needed a fair number of mods.
I am currently helping another friend, Gary install a 4.6L 3V Ford Mod motor in his F1 with dropped beam axle and Toyota PS. Finally got the header problems worked out and tomorrow we will be fabbing the motormounts.

Ill be likely using my 4.6 DOHC and T56 combo for it. Putting a LS motor would be a lot less pricy on a rebuild in the future but I like the idea of keeping it as ford as possible. I know my 4.6 has about 93K on it, and needs valve guides, not sure how much deeper ill go but that could get costly if I go to crazy im sure. I got a quote on the Ron francis harness and PCM/ECU flash and would likely use that as well.

My 1949 F-1 has a 1983 El Cameo front clip.

But it came to me with a SBF/AOD and Ford 8.8 rear axle.

I am in-process of rebuilding the front suspension and putting EFI on the 5.0L.
