Got my hands on a 1967 F100
I've been looking for a bump for a while, but I could never find one for the right price.... Until now. I just happened upon this thing while talking with one of my longtime customers. It was his highschool truck, and he was tired of watching it rot, so the obvious solution was to pass it on to someone who would get 'er going again (me). The price was pretty steep ($200) but I ended up with it anyway.
The warranty tag says it was built in October of 1966 in the Dallas plant.
The original 352 has been replaced with a 460 from a '73 lincoln.. I have mixed feelings about that.. Only real rust beside a few holes in the bed from the 6" of leaf litter is above the back window on the passenger side interior, and the floors from bags of fertilizer..... The floors are pretty bad..
I'm pretty familiar with dentsides already, as I daily drive one I resurrected myself.
I'm hoping most of that knowledge will carry over to this thing.
The motor isn't stuck, so hopefully it will run halfway decently for me, and only leak a lot of oil from everywhere.

I'm about ~50 miles or so southwest of the DFW metroplex.

Got my one '67 I've ever hand off a small dealers lot in 1992 for $800. Except for a lifter click it needed nothing. Drove it from Arkansas to Arizona that summer, then from Arkansas to Pennsylvania the next year and many shorter trips in between. The 352 seemed bulletproof. Only things that went bad (outside of routine maintenance) was the master cylinder, a rear axle bearing and a headlight dimmer switch (at night--eek, no lights) At the time I didn't know that there were a lot of one year only parts on it but then it was never a restoration project, didn't need it.
