Pipe Bumper filler

Hey guys,

I usually hang out at the 7.3 section but though I would wonder around and I found this section.

I am redoing a ranchhand type pipe bumper and I cut out a section and placed a patch. My welding is not the best but most stuff sticks pretty good. Any way I want to smooth out the dimples and was wondering what I should use? Some type of bondo or other type of filler. My plan is to powder coat or line-x when done so what ever I use it have be compatible. Any info would be appreciated very much.

Thanks

Gilbert

For something like that I would use Metal to Metal or All-Metal instead of a poly filler. A little more durable. Harder to sand, but worth the effort.
