2018 Super Dutys spotted in Corpus Christi, Tx!

Don't get me wrong I am not saying its wrong, but how far do we go. I have made a couple of trips now in my F 350 Dually and its 860 lbs. As my 3rd truck at the F350 level, '09, '11 and now the '15 I can tell you its night and day. My truck camper fully loaded and us in the truck prepared for a long trip, I have never been able to drive the left lane like I do now and get in the mountains, LOL, its get the hell out of my way or off the road. I no longer pull to the far right when I see the sign that says: Passing lane ahead. I hit the left lane and with Tow engaged I pass everything but the Corvettes and the look on some of the folks faces is stunning.
One guy stayed with me for a long time and pulled into the fuel stop when I did. He was driving a Mustang GT and asked about my truck, was stunned when I told him it was box stock. When I told him it had 860 lb he wanted to look under the hood.

Thanks Carl.
I think we have peaked. I can take 6000 lbs in the bed of my truck, punch in cruise control at 75 and and have a burn rate of about 10.5 mpg.
Rare is the time that it has to shift below 5th gear in CC with that payload.
We are at the point that in order to make significant jumps torque the envelope and footprint of our truck will have to be increased in capability on the order of a magnitude. At that time you are talking a major increase in production costs and acquisition costs for the consumer.

Why the hell did a thread about the new Super Duty turn into an OT political rant?
Anyway nice pics! It will be interesting if 2018 is the all new model or they actually realease it in as 2017. Hopefully they will realease it as a 2017 so when I buy a new to me truck next year it will drive down the prices of the 2013-2014.
