I am putting my money toward believing these are in truth GM Trucks disguised as Ford Superduty Trucks to throw everyone off.
Plus, if one of them were to break down on the side of the road during testing and someone caught it on camera it would look like a Ford failure.

IMO 6.7 Motor: Ford has a winner in the 6.7. Its also some of the best tech in a motor out there, know anyone else use advanced carbon composites for HD engines?
I w ould bet the torque race is all but over. They are already holding back the engine thru the ECM due to the drive train lacking the ability to handle what can be throw at it. So to go much further than where they are at it becomes very high dollar to upgrade the drive line from the tranny back.
Look for the EPA to be the prime driver in the out years. Big diesels at the 35xx level up have enjoyed a good ride compared to the gas engines found in passenger cars with the EPA all but designing the engines.
Only a question of time before the EPA lays down MPG standards for us like they do with passenger cars. When that happens it may bring a new motor to the table. We may be driving the most powerful trucks as time will bring changes that are not favorable to the truck market...as goes the EPA so do we.

Global warming is a myth.... more oil than the world knows what to do with.... gov't regulations only cost more and more money.... the world will end with a bang and not a whimper.
Yeah, I'm just wildly speculating, what do I know about it

Me too. Hey, in the 1970's there was a big push that something must be done or Global "COOLING" was just around the corner. Just like now celebs jumped on the bandwagon and shouted from their respective stages. Google "1970's Global Cooling" and you'll find some great info. This video with Leonard Nimoy narrating pretty much says it all....

You guys have to take this with a grain of salt. Because one guy with a fleet of disguised trucks, says they are 2018's doesn't make it so. It would make no sense for Ford to create a whole new truck for 17 and then swap motors a year later. More likely is that the gentleman giving the info was giving false info to keep it interesting in the rumor world... a disguised answer as it were...
You mean like in the 2017 picture floating around getting all in an "it's ugly" uproar
All the well kept secrets of new Harley stuff coming out always shows up in the CARB reports months before the August release dates.
Maybe the 6.7 will as well.
