Rubber Bed Liner Recomndations or How to Aquire an Special Tool?

I saw a DIY roll on bed liner kit on one those auto repair/customization shows a while back that had rubber pellets mixed in for traction/grip. I was wondering if anyone knows of some like that. was thinking of doing my bare metal van floor in it so my power wheelchair stays in place.

or do u think I should install these d-ring brackets I bought. problem is I don't have the threaded nut insert installing gun and don't know where to get one. its a tool that u thread the nut insert sleeve on then slip it threw desired hole and squeeze the handle. it compresses the nut insert and bulges in the middle locking the not insert in place. then u simply un thread the tool and bolt down what u need too.

Thanks in Advance, Alice

would a bed liner like Herculiner or Dupli-Color''s Bed Armor be good for traction for my power wheelchair and keep it from sliding around as well?

Try some Rustoleum and add a little clean sand to it, easy to work with and cheap.........

For bedliner I like Durabak. I'm going to be using a lot of it on my 89 Clubwagon and my 54 F100 project. It's like herculiner but is also available in colors.

Here's a link to the companies website.

from what others have said , rust is an issue with coatings.

You have to prime & paint the surface you apply it to. I use POR15 on my stuff before I use the bedliner. I haven't had any rust issues that way.

I consider it a D.I.Y. project. The rhinoliner and line-x are a different kind of product then herculiner or the Durabak I mentioned. The herculiner and Durabak are designed to be brushed on, rolled on or sprayed on, if you've got the right type of spray gun.
