Hi everyone love this site been trolling for some time now love the intel and knowledge so I joined my question is how do you disconnect the park brake cable from the dust shield on my 05 f350 I cant seem to figure it out but I know there must be a way???

Hi Curt, welcome to FTE. What you have is a pain in the **** connector that is a pain to unhook. I assume you're working from inside the hub, correct? To get it apart, I THINK they make a brake tool for removing it. But, since I don't have one, I use a pair of pliers and a flat blade screwdriver and work at pushing the little pieces in one at a time until I have all of them pushed in. I have one hand pulling on the cable while doing this. Sometimes I get them pretty quick, sometimes not. It can drive a person to cussing at times!
