New switches
Okay guys, I got a 1999 F250 that I've been doing a bunch of work too.
First off, I am planning on putting the LED light strip in my box to use as a cargo light as mine does not work. I already have a toggle switch installed in the cab from when my friend installed the lights inside. What would be the best way and gauge of wire to run the lights from the box to the switch?
Second of all, there was been a lot of ford thefts in my area, and I would like to install a couple switches for ignition that are hidden in my dash so only I can start the truck. Not the best at explaining things (sorry). What would be the best set up to wire for ignition/battery or something like that?

No way of knowing what size wire and switch to use for the light without knowing the specs of the light. You need to find out how many amps the new light uses.
Is this truck a manual or automatic? If it's a manual, you can simply find the red/blue wire going to the clutch switch and insert your theft switch in that wire. It will not crank over if this wire is broken. An automatic has this same wire, but it will be a little harder to find, it comes out of the ignition switch and goes through and down to the transmission.
