Earthquake Progress
I haven't been posting over here much, so I thought I'd update everyone on my sickness. I've been working on Earthquake quite a bit to make him what I always wanted. I swapped out the "little" 54 inch tires, for a set of regulation, 66X43X25 flotation tires. I also gave him enough lift to make quite a statement when standing next to him.
This is how it looked May 30th.
This is how it looked last week.
...and this is how it looks right now. I'm one happy, (albeit exhausted) monster truck owner.
How big is it really? Here it is next my '79 4x4 that has 3" of lift and 33s.

Pretty good actually. It's all about the gearing. 6.72 gears in the axles plus the T-case low range and this thing seems to be doing ok. I'll report back after I try my first car crush with the 66s.

If I can get a t-shirt (lol), I will support you as much as I can. Like for working a show, I have some good hand held radios...and at least know what direction to turn a wrench to make things tight. When is the interior roll cage going in?
I also have my HD trailer that is not employed all the time, but it being so far north, does make it a PITA. And you never know when my x bro inlaw or I might need it.
When you step up to the requirement of fire resistant clothing I have an extra nomex balaclava, new nomex flight suit, and gloves. I even have the nomex desert flight boots.
Or I have some 5.11 FR "flash gear" pants and shirt, in BLACK, you favorite color.
I also have a Perko master power kill switch I can get to you, to wire in on the back bumper area if needed.
