Be advised.....as we have covered in the other F-150 Forum (link below).....the TSB is announced, two of us served as Official Ford field test pilots for it on our vehicles and it looks like it is successful. That said, logistics etc. are going to make parts a little scarce at first so be patient knowing Ford folks are working to get them into your vehicles.......

Had mine done today, ran them for a couple of minutes and they are now cooling on the back of the seat too.

Bought mine a couple weeks ago and they seem to be cooling both so I'd guess they're making progress.

I made an appointment last week with my dealer to get this fixed. I used the document included in the messages above. They gave me an appointment for this morning at 0800. When I got there, in line, they told me that they couldn't do this yet because they didn't know how; the doc above has instructions on that but I guess they ain't good enough:-)
Anyhow, don't believe the nice lady who give you the appointment because she probably doesn't know what the deal is and only the service manager/adviser will know.

Just picked up a 2016 Lariat and have read 100s (yes, HUNDREDS) or pages on the seat back issue on the F150 forums. It's true, the 2016 Lariat seat backs still don't cool AT ALL. I called the selling dealer who said "I think only the bottoms cool". I called another dealer who said "There's no blower motor in the seat back".

So we still have an issue. I've unzipped the seat back and took a picture of the blower motor and exhaust duct and will take it to the selling dealer next week. In the meantime, does anyone have a link to the TSB that's F350 specific, or does the F150 TSB apply?

The issue is with the blower motor exhaust, all 2016's have the TSB already installed (you can see the white fiber of the sock if you look under the seat)

There is an aftermarket kit that is $150

The only white socks in my truck are the ones on my feet. It's a 2016 (build date of 8/16). Here are a couple of pictures.

I had the TSB done on my truck. Before there was no cooling on the backs of the front seats. After the TSB you can just feel cooling - if you use your imagination. Is that what others are finding?

That's a different version that previous seats. Looks like Ford copied that aftermarket kit.

Yours doesn't cool the seat back huh? I have the second version with the TSB and it barely does anything with the seat back
