Anyone using a Lokar Gas Pedal Assembly

Anyone using a Lokar gas pedal setup for their 1953-1956 ? If so what model and if you have any pics, I don't know if power train configuration is any issue, but for reference I'm running a 390 FE with C6. Also thinking of the Lokar Emergency brake foot operated set up, any thoughts?
Thanks in advance
Don

I am using this lokar floor pedal, no pictures yet because I am not at the finish point yet, just mocked it up and it works good. Make sure you get the right mounting bracket for the carb you use. Never used their foot brake but I have never had any difficulty with any of their products and I have used a fair share of their shifters emergency brake handle set ups and throttle pedals.

Which part # did you use, they suggest for a 56 F100 part # FMG - 6098, not sure I like that one.

I just got the same pedal that jrockdiddy has, but the more i look at it, the more i think it won't fit with my t-56. I didnt consider how much the lever sticks out underneath the floor. I'll have to take a look at it when i get back home for good in august.

Nick, I'm using a modified 92 camaro "floating" style gas pedal with a lokar cable thru the firewall with my T56. Nothing under the floor.

I used the fmg-6098 on our 54 ford the throttle cable comes from the carb down the outside of the firewall and connects to the bot of the throttle pedal.
Two issues I had with this install, by the time I was able to get full throttle the pedal was to verticle , feels funny, second was the cable bend at the firewall was a little tighter than I like. My 55 has a flat firewall with a different slope on the lower portion so a couple issues arose here, pedal to close and throttle pedal angle not good.
I chose the xsg-6016 it came out with the best fit. Still some compromises tho

I went with a Lokar DP-1000HT with a Lokar KD-20C6HT kick-down for a c6 transmission.

I think i'm gonna have to to with a hanging pedal. I kinda wanted the floor mount for the stockish look, but I dont think it will work out.

Nick, I have this firewall mount hanging pedal I am not using than can have a stockish look depending on mounting position and painting bracket black or carpet color if you are interested in it.

I am using the Lokar Eliminator pedal. I love the style and the quality of it. However, the problem with the eliminator pedal is that it likes to be mounted at the crease where your firewall narrows to the flat floor pan, otherwise the problem of not getting enough travel comes into it.
Lokar do sell a spacer (and I might have to look into that for my setup)
I have a Cadillac bench seat which is pretty thick and though I am only 5' 11", I am finding it a bit short of legroom.
I will have to test mine to see how it goes, but I am thinking it will need spacers to get the full travel.
What I love about the pedal is that the cable mounts off its own bracket on the underside of your firewall. Makes hooking it up very easy.
