Ready to rock

Note to self/all. Dry media 👍🏼, wet media 👎🏼. This was today. Made a good amount of progress on the frame. I will be building a make shift shed to contain the mess of the media. I also came to the realization that trying to recycle this stuff is very time consuming, the media now had small stones in it from trying to reuse the old stuff, and it was picking up moisture so it was jamming a bit. So I'll will be stopping at tsc or fastenal(since I'm an employee) tomorrow and will be picking upabout5-6

More bags of media. Will post pick of progress made tomorrow.

Some info I found on the Holley 1904

I need this glass bowl in my life. I want to run tri-singles down the road. Does anyone know if the intake off a 223 would work? I've seen a dual single intake but not the triple.

What is the name of the panel that sits between the front bumper and the grill? It bolts to the bottom of the grill.

My little brother trying to be funny by sending me this lol.

A little automotive inspiration for anyone out there who needs it.

Got the tarp up and continued blasting.

Got most of the frame done. I will be putting the rear on blocks to jack it up a bit to blast the bottom of the frame

With the stupid right deadline that I have I will probably only blast the bottom of the cab since im replacing the floors. The bed probably won't get touched until I get get more time to fix it. I'm quickly realizing that I've got way more work than 1 1/2 months will allow to be completed. So right now my main focus is rust repair and the chassis. I can deal with the paint and body work afterward

I would pull the valve cover and see if any grit squeezed past the gasket.

I blasted a engine compartment once and I was amazed at the places I found grit 6 months later.

I intend to. I noticed the breather was sitting a little wonky so when I took it off I noticed a few pieces of grit sitting on a rocker

Man you are moving! Great work.

And by the way I can confirm that switch is a brake light switch. I have the exact same one in my 1966 as the PO swapped in power brakes from a 70-something and rigged that thing against the brake pedal assembly.

Found this behind my starter. I'm assuming it's from when they did the motor swap. I might have this airbrushed onto my valve cover

Before paint

AFTER PAINT!! The block will be Oldfort blew the head and rocker cover will be a flat silver and the valve cover will be a flat black
