Need new tires, no thanks to Toyo!!

Well, the tire guys say my shaking is due to 2 of my Toyo M55's being out of round. This after doing 2 road force tests. Toyo won't do anything about it. Sorry, as I see they are a sponsor here. What brand of tires do you all suggest? I don't want to spend a fortune since I will be buying studs in just a few months being in Alaska. What say you??

I'm wouldn't go with Mastercraft, had all kinds of problems (balancing) with them. After 3 visits back to the tire shop they (tire shop ) took them back and gave me credit towards another brand of tire. I finally bit the bullet and got Michelins.

Hankook DynaPro's. They are a good tire and don't cost as much as others. I've been a diehard BFG fan for years but I think I'm going to switch to Hankooks when I need new tires.

I Second this recommendation, I have tried Nitto Terra and Trail grappler's, Goodyear fierce attitude M/T's, Hankook DynaPro A/T-M and Mastercraft (which I will never buy again) and only the Nitto Trail Grappler's have come anywhere close to matching the traction snow or mud or even the longevity of the Hankook DynaPro A/T-M and M/T's.

I used to have a Dodge truck with DynaPro M/Ts on it. I didn't think they were particularly good-looking tires (if you care about that sort of thing), but they rode nicely and wore like iron. Seriously, I don't think I've ever owned a longer-lasting set of tires. And they were mud tires, even.

I HATE my TOYOs, Never have ridden good and are loud as hell on my truck. However they are much quieter than some other M/Ts

My favorite tire Ive ever owned were BFG A/Ts and 2nd Fav BFG M/Ts KM1 (old style)

We get a TON of snow around here in the winter and my BFG A/Ts were great. Driven in powder where you had to push the snow out of the way with the door to get out and they went like it was nothing.

I should also state, i had a set of Toyos on a car once, driving home one hot day and the left front came apart and tore my fender clean off.

Took out my inner fender, outer fender, side skirt, bent the crap out of the body under the skirt. Broke my air intake and bent my hood. Tires were pretty new too.

So apparently when they were naming Toyo tires they just didn't finish the name. Should have been Toyo-Let or Toilet tires.
Sorry I just couldn't pass that one up.
