New truck!

I signed the papers today for my 2015 Bronze Fire Platinum F250! I was actually looking to step down to a new F150 this time around because I like the new look, but pricing for the F250 was the same, or in my case, cheaper than a Platinum F150 after all the rebates.. So I ended up in another Platinum F250. To me it wouldn't have made sense to get the 150 for the same purchase price knowing that it would depreciate substantially more over the next couple years than the diesel would. The plan is to trade this one in about this time in 2017 when the next gen Superduty has all the rebates.

Anyway, I take delivery Monday! The dealer that my local dealer is getting the truck from was closed today for observed Independence Day, so this will be a long weekend for me!

Congrats on the new truck. I stepped up to a super duty for the same reason.

Congratulations on the new Superduty. My son has one of the F150 Platinum 2015 trucks. It is very over the top nice with every option Ford offered. He custom ordered his after a showing of the new release that Ford held for dealers. As soon as he got back to the dealership he placed his order. And since has managed to place many thousands of dollars of aftermarket add on to it.

But, as nice as it is, it ain't no Superduty. Not to mention they don't make a F150 dually for those of us who prefer wider hips.

Here are some pics! I apologize for the crappy cell phone quality. I love this color. Hadn't even seen it in person until today when it pulled up to the dealer and I was in love lol

Thanks guys! This is my first brand new truck. I bought the 13 Platinum with 40k miles on it. It's crazy how this one is basically the same truck, yet so different because it's new lol

Yeah Bronze Fire. Thanks! I can already tell it's gonna take a lot more work to keep this one clean lol I haven't had anything but white trucks for the past 5 years.

Awesome new truck, really wanted and liked the Platinum edition. It just didn't happen for me, there was one, only one to be found in Florida, and it was Black with the 6.2 and 4:30's. just like I wanted but it was in Black. Black in Florida was a great big No... But happily there was a Lariat Ultimate in pearl white with basically all the same features. I hope you'll be as happy and satisfied as I've been with mine. Congrats and good luck.
