Autozone or Napa alternator?

Autozone or Napa alternator?
Ok so I am planning on putting in a 185 amp DC alternator and cables from Ed in the near future but since I put new batteries in and putting a new pos. Cable harness in I'm going to put a new temporary alternator in as well so the whole system is fresh. My question is which would be the best option---a 140amp new or reman from autozone or a 135amp from napa?

Do you have an advanced auto close enough you can use the discount code? All the store brands are probably equal, so I'd go with the cheapest for your situation, longest warranty in general.
And IDK what your downtime can be, but letting a rebuilder go through your stock alt and rebuilding it would be a good backup for the DC Power.

As I've pointed out in other posts. What good is that rebuilder near you when your broke down in BFE. AZ's are everywhere and open 7 days a week.

The best bet if you're broke down in BFE because of an alternator? A second alternator in the toolbox that's been rebuilt and tested.

Autozone or Napa alternator?
I do agree that for what I'm wanting a rebuild from a local shop would be a good idea. As welll I have had a member offer me an outstanding deal on a unit which I would take in a heartbeat if time wasn't an issue. If time wasn't an issue either of those options would be preferable. Now since I'm and idiot and didn't plan this out like I normally do and decided spur of the moment to put a new alternator on so my hole system will be new to match the batteries and cable I suppose I'll go with a new az unit. On another good note had a buddy over (he's 6'3") and had him pull the belt so I could get the kickstand locked. Kinda hard for me while standing on a 3ft step ladder lol.
