Are the Carburetor tag code and distributor number code similar?

I do have the original carb tag, but the dizzy is long gone. The carb tag is D2TF KA. The KA part is the setting information. OK, got that... but in attempting to nail down the original parts in the dizzy, I don't have the code or details. (Only care about the springs, thanks)

 

If you're trying to be that original, I have a listing around of distributor and carb numbers, but I do NOT think they are related...

Exactly what year, model, engine, California or Federal, etc?

 

Yup, there's no relation between distributor and carburetor tag numbers.
Look on the side of the distributor for the number.
