Looks quite straight and low rust. Beautiful color. Custom cab trim. Great find!

Enjoy,

Thanks everyone I'm really liking the truck I actually have the chrome cowl pannel piece and I think I can fix it. 37 ford guy what wheels are those on your truck and what tires are on them that's the look I'm going for. Hopefully have some more pics to put up on Monday when I get a chance to clean it up.

My wheels are Series 14 steelies from Wheel Vintiques, 17x7 front, 17x9 rear. Front tires are 225/55/17 (26.7") Rears are 255/60/17 (29"). My wheels are 5x4.5 with adapters because I wasn't sure what my future suspension plans might be. These rims also come in the stock 5x5.5 bolt pattern. If you purchase from Summit Racing or Jegs, the shipping is free. For special sizing you might have to go directly thru Wheel Vintiques. Hope that helps a little.

No progress on the truck so far been really busy. I did take a quick shot of the I'd tag on the drivers door couldent find a decoder online. Anyone know what all the numbers are. Or if there are any other I'd tags anywhere.

That door tag says it is an F600 - Door must have been swapped out at some point after an accident or, well, for some reason.

20,000 lbs gross vehicle weight. That would be a bit much for an F100....Lol.

Not much progress as of yet but did get a chance to wash the truck and clean the cab up inside. Decided to go with the djm ibeam set up and got power steering and disk breaks off a 79 for free all I have to do is pull the 390 and tranny out of the donor and I get to keep the rest. This pic is about 1 minute of hand buffing with a Terry pad and Mcguire ultimate compound. Hope to pull all the chrome trim and buff the entire truck later this week.

That looks like the same blue I have on mine; Marlin Blue.

Mine polished up very nice, so you'res probably will as well. I have one of the Griot's polishers and used Mequire's #6 after first giving it a good clay wipe.

Before I polished it I used a wire wheel and knocked all the loose bits of paint off and used POR15 on the rust then dabbed it with some Marline Blue paint I had mixed for it. I had to redo the white paint on mine (it's two tone), but I have no plans on painting away the rest of the patina.

Will watch anxiously your progress on the drop you are planning. I debated it as well as the disc brakes, but mine was supposed to be a rush job that sort of got in the way of itself.

Also just found a set of 20 inch dodge steelies. What is everyone's opinion I cant decide on going with the 20's or keeping my 15 inch factory wheels and using whitewalls and moon caps.

The 20's could look good, especially since you're lowering it a bit. But that will also depend on the tire size. Personally, I think around 27" overall diameter for fronts is plenty tall. The rears can be taller if you want. Here's a link to a tire size chart for 20's Tire Size Chart.

I think I mentioned before mine are 26.7" front & 29" rear on 17" wheels. Will be curious to see what you come up with.
