So I'm sitting under the Golden Arches this morning, enjoying a cup of McCafe, and watching their little CCTV program. When what do they feature? The Bottle Tree Ranch. They interviewed the proprietor a little bit, in sort of Happy Meal portions that kids would enjoy. I thought, man you've really made it Elmer, when you get yourself featured on McDonalds CCTV.

Our chapter was there in November of 2013. I suppose our visit helped put the place on the map.

Evening So Cal. Hope everyone has had a nice day. We have had some hard rains today. Short down pours of bunches of water.

Lucky a Ford dealer local to live diagnose as the #2 injector shooting too much fuel. No injectors at the dealer or the local Napa Auto, so we had to order one from Napa for the next day delivery.
Ford tech offered to let me work on the truck on his lot but I had my tools and replaced the injector in the local Days Inn parking lot. Hotel owner picked it up from Napa and delivered it to me after I had pulled the bad one out while waiting for the delivery.
Got on the road the following day, went to Wall Drug, Badlands, and Mt Rushmore that afternoon. Ended up in Casper WY, enjoying a great big thunder and lighting storm just to the north. What beautiful country!
Next say went down to Rawlings, on to Rock Springs, Evanston, Heber City, Provo, and followed 89 to I 70 over to I 15 and stopped at St George for the night, 740 miles later.
The last leg home was a snap and back by 3 p.m.
Thinking I might start carrying an extra injector with me. Not like changing out a plug!

Nothing like carrying my tools and accessories just in case.

My work area.

Always carry my Harbor Freight step stool, just in case.

A couple hours to remove, a couple more to put back together.

Could have used an injector brush.
don't know how i missed this post!

good deal on the fix! glad you were able to make the repair and get back on the road.

Following up on my Fairlane front suspension.
Pretty amazing how the deal works on bearings instead of bushings.
Ball joints aren't tight yet but you get the idea of movement off this vid.

Evening So Cal.

Jim I thought it was coming from down South. They keep saying it is the left over of a tropical storm from the south. But the weather people up here are not too bright anyway.

I think the weather people everywhere are not too bright. They flip a coin in the back room, and then come out and tell us their predictions. LOL

Mornin' guys and gals.
Back on the Fairlane today.
Gotta run around and pick up parts, rebuild the steering, then I think I'll have my front suspension done this weekend.

Howdy all, enjoy the weekend. I heard a talk yesterday on data storage. I had no idea what a Petabyte was. Seems they've got the naming system covered for a while. Domegemegrottebyte? Who comes up with these names? This site has a good way of describing the sizes.

Petabyte sounds like somebody that had a bad dog experience in their youth.

Yes it's hot.
