I'll be waiting for a call from HUD to let me know when they can come out and inspect my new apartment. Should be sometime this week. I am hoping today.

Good luck Jim.
Alrighty after a bunch of piddling around (it's the details that always getchya) the air conditioning in the '61 is actually finished and working minus a charge.
Woooohooo, my street cred with the wife is on the rise.
I know, I know, I heard it as I wrote it.

That is good news. Always a good thing to have AC in the summer. (Especially up here. LOL).
Well no call from HUD today. They stated 7-10 business days when I turned in the paperwork, and Wednesday will be the 10th business day. So it is just a matter of patience, which I have very little of.

Hey that calls for some dramatic and historic music Marc! Beethoven knew how to scribble a tune. Start at 14:00.

I like my oldies. Sheez, 8, count 'em 8 bassists... In my dreams (to over power those dang cellos)!
Kinda bummed I never performed it. Did the 5th and 6th in school, then switched to the bass guitar.

I played the clarinet in 4th-5th grade (because I wanted to play drums, but the teacher did not teach drums) but then got bored with it. If I ever get the chance, I would like to try and learn piano. Buy a cheap keyboard to practice with.

One more day of work then I'll be in my garage for 11 wonderful days if anyone needs me.
Ready to put together the Fairlanes' front end and do some block prep on the 428, then get that off to the shop, do a little more maintenance on the '61, and try to make a decision on what motor I want to put in the mustang.
The beer is cold in the garage fridge.

Sounds like heaven Marc. Very tempting offer!
Busy news day today, between United flights, Wall Street computer glitches. Everyone tripped over themselves reassuring the two events weren't connected. What else could they say? Then poor, dry, Tom Selleck - soon to have a brown 60 acres. On the bright side, we can now have a Malibu beach G2G on hallowed, elite sand.

Me thinks they do protest to much?
Kinda odd to have all that go wrong on the same day.
And if they are not related it sure causes one to consider computer security (as if we didn't already) and the advisability of all your stuff being out there.
Of which I am guilty.
Guess all you can do is be very careful.
