Evening All!

I got almost all the rust out of the driver's side of the van. I have one more patch in the rocker to do. Hopefully I can have this wrapped up tomorrow. What a mess.

Thanks for starting the July thread, and on a different note, the 12 year old grandson got to drive, for the 1st time the faded red Bronco out in the pasture. Doing figure 8's and reverse figure 8's and then made a lap thru the woods, I was a nervous co pilot. lol But he needs to start some time, right? Both grand kids like the Bronco hillbilly bug, they were standing up in the back like a turret gunner. lol

well rich's weather found its way south.....

i really need to get to the shop and work on engines..i forgot about the hemi, the nailhead and my spare 4.3 so there are actually 14 engines in the shop..i moved a few out to the storage bus and a couple of trans.. sure makes room to move in there.. but is hard work for one wore out young man to do by himself..

alan did ya want me to haul the FE block C-6 up to ya..when are ya planning on swapping it out? i need to check to be sure its a truck trans, we may have to swap the shifter shaft out if its a car style..

i did manage to work on cleaning one of the old school hot-rod inline 6's..hope to build 2 by the end of the week..if the weather will let me.. then maybe get started on a warmed-up diesel for the white 4x4

Good morning all. RC, you're on heck of a busy youngster. I got in trouble for mowing the grass at 9:30 last night, something about waking the kids and their dogs up. I didn't get much actual mechanicing done since the time was spent working on a riding mower and then cutting grass. It sure pulls better and cuts better than it ever has since we bought it.

Tell them since they are "up" to get out there and cut it themselves, or grab a weed wacker and a flash light. lol

Tell them that a lawn mower it quieter than open headers in a garage any day and all day and night! lol

Evening All!

What a day. RC brought the trans up for the scab. That truck is really starting to **** me off. It needs to go away.

I almost got all of the rust off the outside of the van. I just have to finish weld the right rear lower quarter and squirt some primer on it.

Then I don't care who comes in with what emergency! The monster truck is getting it's lift and that's the end of that story. The shop will reopen to the public on Monday.

I hate to remind you of the fact that YOU bought it...lol

It was a long day that started at 03:30 with the weather radio waking me up.

Watching TV weather. All kinds of storms here right now. Had to go to the basement @6:45 as a funnel cloud was just a couple of miles from us. It touched down briefly 5 or so miles south east of us.
