87-Will '87 and '88 buckets from F350 crew fit a 1992 F350 crew?

Found at a wrecking yard a pair of bucket seats and center console from a '87 or '88 Ford F350 Crew Cab.

Will these fit my 1992 F350 Crewcab that has an original bench seat?

Are these buckets a direct bolt on? How will my factory seat belts work seeing as the work with my bench seat now?

Any other install issues?

I will have to reupholster these seats as they are brown and my interior is grey. I will also have to paint the center console from brown to gray.

Thanks

They should. My front crew is 40/20/40. It is on a rack that bolts into same holes that my f250 has for it's bench seat

It should bolt up if its on a pan and using the original mounting holes, just peek around and see how its fastened to the floor. The front and rear of the cab are shaped the same way and completely interchangeable.

Key is that it needs to be on a pan.

the seats mount on a low profile bracket that uses the same 4 original mounting holes in the floor that a standard bench seat used. crew cabs and standard cab trucks used the same type seat. the super cab seats where designed so the center seat can be removed and a console can be placed between the seats.

This is not a 40/20/40 set up. According to junk yard, it is 2 buckets and a center console with wood section.

Before I even consider it, I want to know that it fits. Center console is cool, but will lose one seat which is OK as I never travel with 6 anyway.

Are these buckets the same as the 40/20/40 buckets?
I know it is subjective, but are these buckets that much more comfortable than a bench seat?

Unless it comes with some sort of frame or seat pan like the 40/20/40 has. NO, THEY WILL NOT FIT.

The crewcab was NEVER offered with category bucket seats from 83-97 so anything you will find will be some sort of adaptation..

I gave put buckets in crewcabs and reg cabs(both never were offered from the factory) with a 40/20/40 seat pan and the trans from a supercab/bronco cut down and modified. But I did not have to drill ANY holes in the floor to mount them.

Also, you said the console has wood on it. That tells me right there it is aftermarket. So who knows how they mounted them
