What's a good stereo head unit for around $600?

I'm looking for a head unit that will work with sync, has nav or the ability to use android maps, and is backup camera capable. Also looking for good sound. I've been out of the after market sound game for a while. I'd appreciate some help.

I believe all Kenwood's that have navigation, use Garmin. I have had 3 of them in my trucks. They work great. Very reliable, and they are the only head unit using Garmin.

Not sure any will work with the sync, but check out the new Kenwood DDX9902S. It just now is shipping, in fact we are the largest automotive audio store in san antonio and we do not have them in yet. But I am waiting on that one to come in. it has android auto so you can sync your phone up and use google maps off your phone. Don't need to pay the extra for the navigation unit. plus there are android apps that sync up.

Think market price is $799 on them. There is also the ddx9702s which i think was $699. I am putting a 9902s in my F250 as soon as we get them in! Kenwood RCA output is much better of a signal then a lot of the other brands on the market. just this week someone had me put an alpine in and then brought it back next day because they did not like the style, all i changed was the head unit to a kenwood dnn992 and the system had to be retuned because it was way to loud.

There is a Kenwood that utilizes SYNC on Youtube. It can monitor all the parameters sync has. I just can't tell what model it is, and its probably a little more than I want to spend.

i have not had any experience with pioneers car audio line up.
but if they are anything like their home theater AVRs then they should be outstanding!
