Sigh...why me!

My guess, if one of the law enforcement officers trucks was broken into there would be an investigation. A few years ago in our town, there were some high schoolers spray painting cars. This went on for several weeks & the police could never catch them. Then the kids made the mistake of spray painting an unmarked FBI car. The kids were found & arrested inside 2 hours.

Back in the day that used to happen but now it is known they will not investigate. Oddly enough instead of remote stating my truck lately I go outside and see if my doors are still locked.
Anyway just another life lesson to remind me to make sure the truck is locked.

I guess not everyone can be honorable and respectful of and to others and their property. It is certainly easier to just take what someone has that you want than to earn it for yourself. Oh did I mention I hate these P.O.S. base retards myself? I like know I earned everything and paid for everything I own myself.

Honestly besides the use of people's name and addresses for opening credit, or putting a lien on your vehicle etc. I really think most people will not do too much about it and of course NOT protect their credit. I placed an initial 90 days of fraud alert on my credit so when any creditor sees that if they try to apply for credit in my name I get a call.
This happens all over though. The wife and I went into Ashley Furniture here locally and bought my daughter a complete bedroom set when she graduated high school (that's what she wanted) and they guy behind the counter stole our credit card number and used it to purchase **** THAT CHARGED MONTHLY!!! We caught it after a few months and called the number listed on the bill and told them it was illegally done. They reversed all charges except the first one.
Consequently we went straight to the regional manager of Ashley about it come to find out 4 people were really involved in stealing people's credit card numbers and one supervisor. They all got fired thankfully and we INSISTED on a discount for the furniture(to the sum of $500) which we ended up getting.
Anyway...there are all types of thieves out there!
