Self Driving Car news

Hi,

Recently one of the Googlemobiles cut off a competitor's self driving vehicle. It was able to change lanes, so everything worked out.

Both were apparently in self drive mode -- Goog vehicles have been in a few accidents to date, but the Goog has insisted that they were never at fault. Record now slightly tarnished.

In other news "automatic brakes" have been having some failures lately. There have been enough instances of brakes being applied for no reason that some investigations are underway. Apparently not related to any specific system.

And Virginia is opening up sections of a major freeway for self driven (I95?). Wonder how that's going to work out.

There was an item on the news this morning that John Deere has had self driven tractors for 15 years.
