Welcome to FTE, lots of good, knowledgeable people here.
Nice score. Looks like a nice, unmolested truck. Just goes to show, they're still out there.

Congrats and welcome. Sweet looking truck you found. I also saw your post on Facebook. Now we just need to know some stats on that beautiful ride. I.E. engine, trans, gearing, etc. Also any and all future plans you may have for the truck.

Really nice, original truck. How much did it cost?

Thanks! But before I reveal the magical number, how much do you think we paid?

Hey guys, would this be considered a "barn find" even though it technically was in a storage shed? lol

Welcome to FTE

Do not believe the miles shown on the odometer, as it reads to 99999.9 then returns to ZERO!

If the truck has factory installed integral A/C, the A/C controls are located in the same panel as the heater controls.

There were two different types of dealer installed A/C .. Deluxe & Economy. The 2 A/C switches are located in their bezels.

Yea, a 38 year old truck I doubt it's original miles. Sounds cool though!
Bill, can you help me with the VIN#? Not that it matters, we've already wrote the check and are committed, but I would like to know all that I can about it.

Post the VIN and all the codes stamped on the Warranty Plate, or post a pic of it. Either myself or mikeo0o0o0 will decode it for you.

Warranty Plate riveted to the left door face below the latch.

You can get a copy of your trucks original build sheet by passing along your VIN and some bucks to martiauto.com .. This is known as a "Marti Report."

Thank you! I won't be able to get a pic of the warranty plate until tonight. We have a friend who is going to trailer her home for us, she's scheduled to arrive at 8pm!

Thanks so much for all that info! I took a pic of the A/C controls. Is this factory air or no?
