What if Ford decided to make a new version of the Lightning, say, in 2018? Would you want it to put something similar to the MPT Performance-tuned engine you're about to see in it?

Maybe if its reasonably priced. But living in the frozen tundra I have zero use for a 2wd truck. If anything they'll probably do like a 550hp V6 EcoBoost to the Lightning and call it a day. But would Ford be wanting to have a 4x4 Raptor and 2wd Lightning up for sale at the same time?

I'd rather have a 550 HP V8 than 550 HP V6. Why not have both available at the same time? In the City I'd rather have a 2WD stop light burner than a 4X4 stump jumper. They are 2 different trucks that would not compete against each other. I miss my Lightning. I hope Ford builds another soon.
