correct engine mounts for 78 f250 4x4 with 300

I'm in the process of swapping engines in my 78 250 4x4 (300 to another 300) and I cant find the right engine mounts anywhere, there all at least 1" taller then the stock mounts? its not like the rubber isolator is worn down that much, the steel bracket itself is taller on both of the sides. I read somewhere on this site that someone had to order some from an econoline to get the correct size? but I couldn't find any other information on that. I have already tried Napa, o Reilly, AutoZone, and Jeff's bronco graveyard. So for the ones from bronco graveyard are the closest, but still not right.

I cant be the only one who's ever ran into this problem, am I?

I had some problems with this! And probably many others had this, and I copy and pasted from this forum a NumberDummy reply:

2331 and 2332 Anchor was the right motor mount for my 78 F150 with a 300. The Ford Part # on the original mounts 2327-1 and 2328-1.

Is the problem the rubber mounts that bolt to the block or the towers themselves that bolt to the frame? Have those been modified on the truck in any way?

Does anyone know what year e100 van to order engine mounts for to get the right ones? my problem is with the rubber and steel mounts that bolt to the block itself, not the towers that bolt to the frame. The steel part of the engine mounts I keep getting from different parts stores are roughly 1" taller then there supposed to be, the rubber on all of them have been roughly the same thickness.
