Check out this dirty throttle body, what yours may look like

I recently cleaned my turbo tubing and saw how dirty my throttle body was. After scraping all the chunks off I used brake cleaner and a wire brush to clean it. Total time was about 4 hours to dissamble, clean, and reassemble.

Nasty.... Glad you got it cleaned out - I bet the engine runs a lot better now.

According to the OPs profile, he has a 2011 with 125k - 150k miles on it...

It's a 2011 and has 145k miles. I did the egr and dpf delete at 105k miles. This is the first time I've cleaned it.
To be honest I can't really tell a difference in driving.
If a chunk would have gotten dislodged it could have really caused a problem though.

I don't know what is worse, the fact that a piece could have dislodged and caused havoc or you can't tell a difference in driving it....
