Steering column hole cover

My truck did not come with a steering column hole cover when I bought it, and driving it is excpetionally hot with all that air coming right at my crotch while driving. I bought the rubber seal, but I cannot find the hole cover... C5TZ 3B633-A I did not see it on LMC or DC, or any other website. Any ideas I? Or do I have to try and make my own? Its a 65 F100 with saginaw PS added on with a 69-72 column.

Seem to recall topic came up few months back and member posted a source, perhaps will chime in and provide source.

Came across a thread where member mentioned 'Flashback F100' listed the part?? Appears similar but not same. Had issue where original seal wore out and purchased a seal, can't recall source, but found the opening was slightly smaller than the original column and had to use heat to stretch the opening. Suggest measure column dia. and compare with replacement spec's??

Dave nice memory...it was 6/2013...so just a couple months ago. I have the rubber seal, but I am missing the metal cover for it, and as NumberDummy pointed out, obsolete and no one seems to reproduce it.

Any other ideas before I go buy a piece of sheetmetal?

Ford...
I have an original with clamp, from a 65 that you can have for a minimal expense, but it may not match the diameter or position of your replacement column. At least it would have to be modified and that's probably why the previous owner left it off.

Perhaps a combination of rubber boot, and an aftermarket steering column manufacturer would work???

Let's just make sure I am thinking correctly. There is a metal plate on the engine side of the fire wall with a clamp, then the fire wall, then the rubber boot on the inside of the cab, then a metal plate on the inside of the cab, that bolts into the firewall. Right?

If so I am missing the last metal plate. If not, and the only metal plate is the one with the clamp on the engine side of the firewall, then I need to figure out how this reubber seal goes in, or if it is the right one.

When I upgraded to front disc, and since I have the 4 speed, I was able to use the original column with slight modification at the firewall. I believe I kept the components in the same sequence; the rubber boot was stapled to a metal plate which mounted to the cab firewall. There is the heavy gage metal steering column collar that mounts to the engine side of the firewall and the clamp is place on the end and secures the column to the collar. Sorry, description does not make sense to me either.

Post #1: The OP seemed to know what he wanted, since he had the Ford part number (C5TZ-3B633-A), but...

Now he doesn't know what he wants, so it was necessary to post the parts catalog pic, part numbers/descriptions of the parts.

Thanks....I was doubting myself from some of the comments above.

Okay, so it seems like no one makes this, being a piece of sheetmetal with a elongated hole in it...I will just have to make it.

Sorry, I was coming from the position if ya aint got it, and ya can't get it because FoMoCo does not reproduce it, then perhaps food for thought regarding possible other options? IMO, fabricating items kinda the nature of the beast?

I'm in the middle of installing p/s on my '61. I removed the plate when I removed the old steering box and I'm going to fab a new one due to rust issues.
I'm also swapping the steering column because of the p/s. Thinking of taking the column to the muffler shop and having the guy make me a 3" long piece of exhaust pipe that will just fit over the base of the column. Then I'll weld the tabs I need to it in house to make my custom bottom clamp.
