Is there a filter for the C6

Seems like the last time I did a fluid change on my C6 there was only a screen and no filter. Does any kind of after market filtering system exist for these bad boys?

I just found out that newer Accords have an external ATF filter and it looks like a fuel filter. Worst case is I could rig up one of these inline somehow and get some filtering that way. But would doing so be restrictive?

More Information for ATP JX150

More Information for ATP JX151

I can't see how they'd get mounted into the cooling lines though.

Ford makes a kit also. Part number XC3Z7B155F. (replaced XC3Z7B155CA) After once installed you can buy the filter separate. Part number XC3Z7B155G.

I put a filter head in the cooler line and an FL1A filter on my 84 F250, it worked great.

I have thought about something like this. I find a lot of shrapnel when I pull down the screen on my C4. What do you guys find when you cut the filter open at change time?

Any chance someone could post a pic of how this looks installed. I'd assume it goes into one of the cooler lines. Does that mean you have to cut off a chunk of the line?

The ones I've seen, yes you have to either cut the lines and patch it in with rubber, or if you have the higher quality, run new steel lines with the proper fittings and length.
