'94 Bronco cruise control stopped working
The other day I replaced the TPS and now the cruise doesn't work. I checked both fuse boxes and the steering wheel switches. I have power out of the switches but am no longer hearing a click when pushing the 'set' button. In a thread on the truck forum there is mention of a relay. Does anyone know where that might be located? I'm not sure where the power goes after the switches.

Clock Spring Assembly?
Does your horn work at the moment? Or is your airbag light flashing? If so, it is your clock spring assembly, located in the center of the steering wheel behind the horn padding. This part is a major component of the airbag, and also supplies current to the steering wheel buttons. Not hard to replace, but kind of expensive (around $90).

I am having the same issue with a '96 Bronco. I also have a '94 Bronco that the cruise quit on and after the horn quit, this forum told me the clock spring was the culprit. They were correct, the c/s fixed it on the '94. So when the cruise quit on the '96, I changed the c/s first after checking the peddle switch. On a '96 the clock spring is $220! I still have no cruise. I swapped the peddle switch with the '94 that had a working cruise, still no cruise. Checked all the fuses, all good. Next thing to check anyone?

You should remove the connector to the Brake Pressure Switch immediately. It's a ticking time bomb. Seriously get this repaired today or remove the connector. Thousands of Ford vehicles burned to the ground because of this poor engineering blunder.
