dual fuel tank selector valve

dual fuel tank selector valve
I gone through the posted items about dual fuel tanks to see what might apply to my problem. While there were similarities, in my case the rear tank that can’t be used.
I have a 1986 F-150 with dual tanks. I bought the truck used and at the time only the front tank was working. The rear tank hadn’t been used for several years.
It’s EFI with a low-pressure pump in each of the tanks. . The selector switch turns on each in-tank pump and switches the fuel gauge to the tank in operation. The tank selector valve is a non-electric six port operated by pressure coming from the in-tank pump in operation. The fuel then goes to the high-pressure pump and on to the engine.
I've replaced the rear in-tank pump. At the same time the tank was boiled out. The tank selector switch turns each of the low-pressure pumps on and off as it is supposed to and the fuel gague as well.
But with the switch turned to the rear tank it’s the front tank that empties.
It’s my guess that the selector valve is stuck in the front tank position and the high pressure pump is drawing the fuel from the front tank.
My question at this point is where beside Ford can I buy the selector valve? Ford wants about $150 for the valve.
