I don't care for the red accents behind the grill and the red stripe around the graphics could be a little smaller, but other than that it looks good.
Yes of course sir. They deleted it for 2015 and then brought it back of sorts to answer GM's push. I didn't care for all the make up on the FX4 of the last gen. The FX4 was a great looking truck without the accents, IMHO.

I like mine much better without the garish decals on the side.

I've owned several Fords ... F350, Excursions, Explorers, Mustangs, F50 FX4 ... and I went to my favoite dealer ready to buy a 2015 F150 (wanted the King Ranch package). I was disappointed when I got a good look at the grille. Reminds me of the old F650 tombstone-shaped grille. Other trim details turned me off, too. Two-tone paint with chrome bumpers is a turn-off. Now it looks like the 2016 will continue the fugly-grille. Guess I'll wait for the next design.

Ford should bring back the Harley Davidson Edition or another Foose Edition truck instead of this.

I got a kick out of reading this post. I don't think a single post was positive. I actually like the Special Edition and ordered one yesterday. I doubt there will be a lot of them on the road but you never know. That is one reason I like it...not like all the others out there. I will be a first time Ford truck owner moving from a 2005 Dodge Ram 2500 diesel with the Sport option. Trucks have come a long way since 2005. I will be happy to be a Ford owner!

Now just because you don't like my truck I am never going to let you drive it so don't even ask!

Atta boy Mike! Welcome to FTE!

As much as I hate painted bumpers mainly because of the inherent wear and tear that they'll get, I'd be a sucker for a black pack with an all black interior. Nothing fancy, no graphics, no stripes and no identifiers of any kind. Just badges front an d rear.

I can't wait to see real pics of your truck Mike. I'm sure she'll be a beauty.

That is usually the case with a salesman. With the internet today an informed buyer knows more about what he wants than ever before. A salesman has to know details across the whole product line which I am sure is a large amount of information to learn.

Do you have any information on your Special Edition as far as production date or Vin# yet?

I like it, I just wish it was available in Regular cab too, as one of the early articles said.

Do you mean "homey"or "homely". If you are implying that it is ugly then I will see you and raise you 10 "terribles" and throw in a "god awful".

Ford designers, are you reading this? The majority of us want clean smooth trucks, not "gimmicks".
