motor swap 302 to 351w allready done.???????
speed dinsity to speed dinsity. used the 302 wires and upper intake (it was cleaner). both computers where eccIV i put the 351w's computer in. pluged right in the 351w came from a 90 E350 van and i have a 91 F150. There are a few things though. 1 is the senser on the top back of the block of the 302 and its not on the 351w. What senser is that and what can i do? 2 i eliminated the pollution. What should i plug? I have a leak or somthing. The Idle is a little off and I would really like to get it running right. Have not drove it yet just got done and have to get a new TV cable for the AOD. Sound like a beast though even with the leak or what ever it is. Any tips on the TV cable adjust would be great.

The sensor on the back of the 302 block is a knock sensor. If the wiring harness is the same for each engine and the 351 doesn't have a knock sensor you can just leave it unplugged. I would try to keep the smog stuff. You will have quite a job ahead of you working those problems out, you may be better off getting a book to follow. Good luck.

The smog stuff is required to make the computer control the engine properly. The sensor on the back of the 302 is a knock sensor and is not used on the 351. WIthout the air pump, and all it's hoses and bs you will wind up killing your cats and possibly blowing the motor up due to a plugged exhaust system.
