Snow Truck

Hey guys,
Looking for some pictures I used to have on a former computer that I am sure came from here, but I cannot find them.

It was a blue and white F1 in the snow. I want to say it was in Montana, but I couldn't find it searching the galleries. Anybody know the truck in question?

Might not be the one you're thinking of, but it's in snow in Montana and is sorta blue and white. It's also an F6.

Hope you find the one you're thinking of....

Do remember if it was a 4x4? There's a recent member who has truck mounted on a newer chassis. He has videos of the truck on YouTube. If that's the truck search Youtube for 1948, 1949 or 1950 Ford truck, it should come up.

Yeah, I haven't posted much since I rebuilt my 302. I still lurk from time to time, but don't have much time to spend online these days. You from the Ice Cream Capitol?

Bob, I don't think it was a 4x4. As I remember it, it was a restored truck with custom paint and a stock-ish ride height.

I am working up plans to re-do the paint work on old blue and considering a two tone. I don't want to copy the truck I'm looking for, but I remember it had some unique elements to the paint that were pretty cool; but now I can't find it.

Anyway; it was years ago I pulled those pics and obviously they were lost in translation somewhere...I do have an old laptop tucked away in a closet some where I might have to pull it out and see if it will fire up and give me what I'm looking for, but I remember thinking it was one of the core guys here who had the thing...but of course I can't remember who. I think I'm getting old!

If I do find the pics I'll post them up here.

Yes, I am from Le Mars. A couple years ago my daughter and I were back for Memorial Day, as I am a member of the American Legion there in town, and we came by your place. Your daughter liked mine (who was16) and took her to the swingset. Ring a bell now.

Ever have a complete brain fail? Yeah, that's me. Totally remember you and your daughter. Just had a mental misfire. Your family used to own the old greenhouse on Lincoln and central...only the little house remains. Sorry about that. You ever come back to town let me know and we'll get some ice cream or something.

Peace,
Jim
