New guy..

Hey guys new here looking to further knowledge myself on "my new" 1951 ford f1.. Little info on the truck. Once was my grandfathers (he passed 6 months before I was born) im 26 now.. Truck was left to my dad and uncles but grandmother came under finance issues so she sold it to my uncle. (He started to restore it.. Brakes came apart nothing else) he was forced to sell to pay for his new sun room remodel.. Truck was sold to a older gentlemen who lived about 45 mins away ( no one was informed the truck was sold after my uncle had it.) happened to drive down a old back road one day with my father and the guy who bought it had his garage open we turned around to go see if it was said truck turns out it was. Been in contact with the gentlemen since he bought it. I now own it! Its been restored motor been completely rebuilt new trans (4 speed) with clutch and pressure plate. Stripped down and primered. New everything pretty much still needs a few things here and there. Missing a speaker for the radio and unsure about the heaterbox it doesn't look anything that should be in there..I bought a 1952 f1 heater box in decent shape but havent tested it out yet.

Am originally from Wis. Haugen N. of Rice Lake . I too have my grand fathers truck bought in '68 when I was 16 . When you get to the heater stage or it gets too cold to drive it ( Nov.in Wis. ) let me know. Can hook you up with what ever you need .

Sounds like the truck found its way home in better shape than it left. It looks like it is straight and clean. Enjoy!

I have a heater just like that , it came with my 1948 f1. I don't know if it is the correct one or not. My 50' has a three door heater.
