My ex father-in-law has built at least 15 doodle bugs, he would put a large truck rear end under them, but NEVER an abortion like that one.

 

while rummaging through google i think i found what the owner was attempting to replicate...and then make it a roadster...

We had a thread about one similar. When I get a chance I will see if I can dig it out. That one was ugly, but at least done right.
For some reason, I think the original posted one looks like another one we saw that was just as bad....hmmmm...I could spend the evening looking for them.....
