How does 6.7 compare with 6.0?
Any major issue to watch out for 6.7 like 6.0? I have been watching for used F250 with 6.2, but this one popped up and 6.2 are hard to find. Its 2011 F350 SRW long bed with 6.7. It has 150K miles on it. They are asking for 14K as it is an XL with XLT package. It was a fleet truck, so it has maintenance history on it.
I rarely drive my truck, so I wonder if it is bad for diesel to sit. I may put 20 miles on it a week. I am mainly looking for a better truck to tow my camper that has a GVWR of 7,650 pounds. Maybe this truck is over kill, but...
My current truck is 2001 F250 5.4 with 160K miles.

If you decide to upgrade camper like we did. We went from 7000 lb reg trailer to a 13000 lb fifth wheel. The 6.0 will do great for the 7 K load but will struggle with a 13K load as we found out the hard way. We went with the 6.7 a few weeks ago and I don't hardly know the fifth wheel is back there.

If you only put 20 miles a week I would get the 6.2!. Best gas motor yet IMO. No spark plug issues like the 5.4 and 6.8 and is 2nd in pulling power only to the 6.7. It is a proven very reliable engine!

Regearing is cheaper than a newer truck. The one you mentioned might be ten years newer but basically the same miles, probably harder in a fleet. The 6 speed trans is nice, but you can build the 4R100 up to hold a lot of power.....
...to be ready for when the 5.4 dies and you put a 24V Cummins in it Just saying, it's apparently a second vehicle so replacement might not be the best bang for the buck so to speak. There are other options, regearing is a big one.
