Spring Question....

I posted this in another forum, but never got any replies....Maybe someone here may know.

Can anyone tell me what the difference is between these 2 springs? Or is there a chart somewhere that deciphers spring codes??

The YC35 GA is an Excursion spring, 410 lbs/in.

I can't make out the part numbers on the second set... 2C60? or 2C80?

(it almost looks like "U137", that was the program code for Excursion)

How about this one? haha R 136 4 4C75 DC (other spring in the pair is R 132 4 4C75 DC) Thanks! I know what I pulled them off of, but it was kind of a fishy deal, so I want to confirm.

All that I can tell is that "4C75" they are from a 2004 Excursion. Any pics?

They actually came off of a 2wd 2004 F350 DRW. They are the normal 4 leaf plus overloads . Code on the door of the pickup for them was C, pickup was low miles and we pulled them off ourselves. I was just curious because the part number didn't match the C code numbers I had seen. I wish Ford did better with their part numbers, lol. If you want pics, I can get some, they are partly torn apart in my garage for cleaning/painting.

Maybe those springs are a hybrid, meaning someone already modded them...Ford only stamps one leaf so that's all anyone has to go by.

No telling... The truck was a fleet truck from a large company, so I don't think anyone ever messed with anything, and it's not a slapper bar, it is the big fat overload. Top overloads were pulled off by another guy who only wanted them, and I only wanted the main packs, lol. I will grab a picture later just so y'all can see them.
