E4OD without 9 pin plug
So as a followup to my other thread of replacing the solenoid pack..
My business partner had to move the truck today.
The problem was that the 9 pin connector was not plugged in.
He said it felt like the tranny was stuck in high gear.
I came back to a small puddle under the tranny.
He moved it about thirty feet up a slight incline
So my question is, did he do any damage?
Looking underneath, It looks like theres fluid dripping from the front (tourque converter housing and rear seal out of the transfer case.
Should I kill him???

How in the world would starting in fourth gear overpressurize the pump? What exactly is overpressurizing the pump? I don't understand.
It could have leaked some trans fluid because driving away in fourth gear can get the torque converter quite hot, and that can make the torque converter hub seal leak. The seal will usually work fine again once it cools off.
If you put Type F in this trans have the money ready to buy a new trans. You'll need one.
Use MERCON V fluid.
