I've got a 2005 Screw. I've had it with the afore mentioned plastic parts looking like crap. I'd consider painting them but they have this waxy film that will half way scrap off, but I'm pretty sure not completely enough for any kind of paint to stick. So, I'm resided to the fact I'll have to replace them. I've done several searches on line but I've not had any real luck finding any after market items. I don't want chrome, just black like stock. Anybody found any that I missed? Appreciate any help.

 

I used some stuff called forever black. It is an actual dye and comes with a cleaner you use to clean the plastic before dyeing it. It took a little while to use it but the plastic looks much better. I put it on about 2 months ago and so far it all looks good.
