Sliding back window latch

Im sure it has been answered already but i couldnt find it while searching with my phone.

I have an early 99 with the sliding back window and my son pulled the latch off while opening it the other day. Whats the best thing to get it to stick back on and not come off?

mine is the 1 piece sliding window, not the 2 pieces that slide together. I have the latch, I just don't know what adhesive to use to get it to stick to the glass and not come off again.

Check with your local auto glass shop. They stick on rear view mirrors with something good.

Maybe try a glass repair shop, maybe just a shot of the adhesive they use for windshields? If you find out what to use lets us know I'm sure it will happen to someone else.
