Softer Shocks?

Looking to get something softer for my new '15. I don't think my infant is liking the stock ride and we have a road trip coming up in a few months. What do you guys recommend? I might look into a full 2.5" lift in the future.

A lot of aftermarket shocks tend to stiffen up the ride more. If you are unloaded you can reduce the air pressure in the tires some, especially in the rear.

Load range "E" tires are stiff. I run 55 psi in all 4. I rarely have much weight in the bed and that makes the ride much better. I recently put on a set of Bilstein shocks. Very nice compared to the stock 'Rancho' badged shocks (FX4).. but they had over 200k on them so were probably 'tired'.

the 5100 Blisteins shocks help alot as for as ride. If you what a smoother ride put some weight in the back of the truck, that will smooth it out.

The bilsteins on my 2012 f250 had 150k on them so I just replaced them with some pro comp pro runners. These made the ride CONSIDERABLY softer. They wouldn't be the best choice for a tow rig . I run 35s and only run 35-40lbs in them as well. The softer ride far outweighs having to look at the sensor light. When I have a load I put a mighty 50lb in em.
